Snow Removal

❄️ Snow Removal Responsibilities
Snow removal on public roads within Green Township is a collaborative effort shared among three agencies:
- Green Township Department of Public Services
- Hamilton County Engineer’s Office
- Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)
🚜 Green Township’s Responsibility
Green Township is responsible for maintaining
residential streets throughout the community—515 streets in total, covering more than
110 miles (210 lane miles).
Our Public Services crews work diligently to keep these roads
safe and passable during winter weather events.
🛣️ Street Maintenance Guidelines
As a general rule,
streets with a double yellow centerline are
not maintained by Green Township.
While a few exceptions exist, this guideline applies in most cases.
