Green Township partners with
Rumpke Recycling to provide convenient curbside recycling service for residents.
Rumpke supplies each household with a sturdy recycling container and collects materials weekly in most neighborhoods. Recyclables are then transported to a nearby Rumpke Recycling Facility for sorting and processing.

Rumpke’s facilities in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus use single-stream recycling technology, which means you can place all recyclable materials together in one container — no sorting required.
Rumpke has invested more than $5 million in advanced systems that efficiently separate recyclables before sending them to manufacturers who create new products such as:
- Carpet and plastic piping
- Aluminum cans
- Newsprint and cardboard boxes
- Fiberglass insulation
