     Roundabout Project at Ebenezer and Hutchinson Roads

Set to Start Next Month


Hamilton County (Tuesday, June 23, 2026) – A safety improvement project is set to begin at County Road 128 and C.R. 161 (Ebenezer and Hutchinson roads) in Green Township, with restrictions going into effect early next month.

Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation, in partnership with Green Township, will be constructing a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Ebenezer and Hutchinson roads. The project also includes the construction of stormwater improvements and grading.

Operations are scheduled tentatively to start Monday, July 6, and a 90-day closure of the route will be in effect. Once the route is closed, Ebenezer Road traffic will be detoured by way of Bridgetown, Taylor, Rybolt and Wesselman roads. Hutchinson Road motorists will be detoured via Filview Circle, Harrison Road, Race, Bridgetown and Ebenezer roads.

After the intersection reopens and through the remainder of the project, traffic will be maintained by flaggers during daytime hours of operation, daily from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Sunesis Construction Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $2.34 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in late November.
