He was the former Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Summit Country Day, where he led his program to two regional appearances, a Regional Championship, and the State Championship game in 2015. He retired in 2019 as the winningest baseball coach in the school's history, amassing 218 career wins.
As a Trustee, Triffon’s vision is to boost Green Township’s reputation as a safe and desirable community in which to live, work, visit and raise a family. To accomplish this, he and the board have focused on:
● Maintaining quality safety services through investment in our police, fire and EMS.
● Stimulating economic growth through creative partnerships for residential and commercial expansion to bring new jobs to the township and increase property values. This includes new housing developments, retail establishments, senior living communities, restaurant and hotel additions, and road expansion and maintenance.
● Attracting and incentivizing families to move to Green Township with top tier schools, parks, and sidewalk connectivity to businesses and other amenities.
