Green Township is happy once again to host a severe weather spotter training class taught by the National Weather Service. This class teaches how to recognize severe weather, some things that look severe but are not, and how to report information to the National Weather Service. Trained spotters play an important roll in helping warn our community about severe weather. This class also teaches severe weather safety, helping you protect yourself when dangerous weather occurs.
The spotter class will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 beginning at 7:00PM. The location is the Nathanael Greene Lodge, 6394 Wesselman Road, Cincinnati, OH 45248. The class will be held on the upper level of the lodge, which has ground level access. When you arrive at the lodge, continue up the driveway, past the building to the upper level parking lot. Enter the doors near the parking lot. This course is provided at no cost.
